Built Differently.

Providing accessible solutions has been natural over the past 18 years for Founder and Principal Consultant David Meihls. Educated and skilled in design David has accumulated over 30 years of experience working in the design field for Architects and Engineers specializing in accessible design. A proven leader and effective communicator, David led many projects as Architectural Project Manager. Transitioning from design to consulting as an ADA consultant has been a natural transition.

Due to a diving accident in 1994; David was left paralyzed and confined to a wheelchair. As a C7 quadriplegic, he experienced first-hand, architectural barriers that limit access for individuals with disabilities. His personal interest in the Americans with Disabilities Act and the design related regulations has kept him current and up to date with the latest changes and amendments made to the ADA over time.
